A Message from our Board President Dear Fellow Residents: It seems hard to believe that a year has passed since we conducted our 2012 Membership Drive for Village Ambulance Service. This year we find ourselves at the beginning stages of replacing one of our 2007 ambulances. This vehicle has served our coverage area for almost six years and is in dire need of replacement. In addition, we face the continued increase in operating expenses compounded by the significant decrease in Medicare, Medicaid and third party insurance reimbursements. Thanks to your generous support, we are able to continue offering a wide range of medical transportation services from advanced life support to non-emergency shuttle service for a variety of consumers, including hospitals, managed care organizations, skilled nursing facilities, and YOU, our most valued customer. I’d also like to thank our committed Board of Directors, our hundreds of donors, and our dedicated staff. It’s the commitment and incredible spirit of everyone in our community that ensures that we’re here to support them in their time of need. Stay safe!
